The Fab Four the Ultimate Beatles Tribute
Apr 14, 2014

We held a Trivia Contest at the Box Office Opening Saturday. Thank you to everyone who came out to on opening day and participated in our giveaway. Help us celebrate our winners!

Our Grand Prize Winner is Stephen O. of Weymouth! Stephen answered all 3 questions correctly. Stephen’s prize pack includes 2 tickets to see the Fab Four – the Ultimate Beatles Tribute and a gift certificate for dinner at Jamie’s Grille & Pub!

We also selected a runner up from entries who didn’t answer all the questions correctly. The questions were tougher than we expected!

Cheryl D of Hingham is our runner up! She’ll receive 2 tickets to the Fab Four and a certificate for appetizers at Not Your Average Joe’s!

And since we know you’re dying to see the answers…

Q: Name the bassist who was one of several musicians often called “The Fifth Beatle”
A: Stu Sutcliffe. Stu was the band’s original bassist who left to concentrate on his career as an artist. Klaus Voormann also played bass with The Beatles in Hamburg clubs after Stu Sutcliffe left. Other common answers were drummer Pete Best and Brian Epstein, the band’s manager from ’61-’67.

Q: What was the last album the Beatles recorded while together as a band?
A: Abbey Road was the last they recorded. Let It Be was the last they released.

Q: What Beatles album included the song “Eleanor Rigby?”
A: Revolver. A lot of you guessed Sgt. Pepper.

Thank you again to all who participated. And to our winners: We’ll see you at the show!
