Well, Labor Day has come and gone, and so has another remarkable season at the South Shore Music Circus. Flying by in what seemed like a blur, summer has passed. Luckily, in those few months we had some incredible live music under the tent!
Hunter Hayes kicked things off for the season and sure made us “feel Wanted,” followed by the legendary Boz Scaggs & Michael McDonald.

We partied with a Pink Martini or two, and felt real Fabulous with the Fab Four’s Beatles tribute. And who knows, Josh Turner’s “Hometown Girl” may have been found right here in Cohasset.
Buckle up folks ‘cuz we’re just getting started. Things got a little off script with Colin Mochrie &
Brad Sherwood, forcing us to ask, “Whose Line is it Anyway?” Lee Brice was not “Hard to Love,” at all.
Tower of Power & Average White Band funked things up real good and got us all dancing.
“Mama Mia!” there ABBA The Concert went again, making us all feel like the “Dancing Queen.” And we picked up some “Good Vibrations” and had plenty of “Fun, Fun, Fun” when The Beach Boys surfed to town. Three Dog Night & America had us singing “Joy to the World” on a “Horse with No Name,” and Jim Breuer brought his “Family Friendly” brand of laughs to us too.
Somehow, TajMo made singing the blues a great time.
And even though footwear is required, we made an exception for Jake Owen’s and his “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”
Things also got real saxy when George Benson & Kenny G made us all “Breathless.” Last, but certainly not least, on a rather chilly night at the end of August, we all had the “month of May” when The Temptations and The Four Tops stopped by.
Yes, another summer at the South Shore Music Circus has come to a close. Fall is in the air, and soon we’ll be in the cold, snowy depths of winter. But, hope is not lost! No, there is a happy thought to keep you going through the rest of the year, we get to do this all again next Summer! So, sign up for the Inner Circle Club to find out about shows and buy tickets first. Shows will start to be announced in January to give you some motivation to make it through the rest of the winter. We’ll see you next year under the tent!
